I ripped my Pearl Jam - Pearl Jam CD yesterday. Just fine. No problems. Actually I did it twice. Today EAC hangs up on the first track. If I skip the first track the rest of the CD rips just fine.

I have EAC running in Advanced mode. I'm using 'User Defined Encoder' LAME 3.97b2. I entered the command line parameters for V0 + tagging options with help from the guides in the forum. I have the latest WINASPI.DLL from Nero and the ASPI interface is selected.

In Roxio the first rip I did shows a "Pre-Gap" of 2 seconds on track one. Does this have anything to do with the Gap Detection stuff in EAC? I didn't adjust this in EAC but maybe I need to?

What am I missing? Thanks for the help.
