unsure.gif Using EAC 0.95b4 and lame 3.98a6...when mp3 is created and played back in windows media player the track times are all messed up...tracks usually show up as 20-40 seconds long but its the whole song...what am I doing wrong here?

I don't see this with WMP 10 or 11. If there is a Xing tag (LAME default), WMP will see the correct length for LAME VBR content. (You didn't give us much detail here.)

Your right.Only WMP seems to have this problem with the current lame alpha 6.
MP3's I have recorded with previous alphas don't have this problem.
I use a standard -V 4 command line.
