Hi everyone,

I have 3 groups of songs 1 encoded in mp3 alt preset standard, the other one in ogg -6,

I tried comparing them and to me mp3 sounds cleaner and better, I'm not a pro so I'm interested in your opinion so I hosted them. I was wondering if you could please listen to them and tell me what you think?

My hardware: Grado SR225 + Echo Indigo Audio PCMCIA

Links removed, TOS #9, mmk.

Why don't you perform an ABX test yourself? do a search in the wiki. You honestly shouldn't be able to tell the difference, especially with Vorbis at -q 6.

I think you should be comparing the MP3s against the originals, and the Oggs against the originals, instead of comparing the MP3s with the Oggs.

If you're doing a sighted comparison, a double-blind test is infinitely better.
