Full Version: EAC overread/write question

All my versions of the cd's listed on the EAC site as key discs for determining the offset are different versions and will not yield any results for me. I found the offset on the accurate rip site so i don't need that but i need to know if my drive can overread into the lead in and lead out tracks.

I had EAC make a offset test cd and ran the overread test with that. Will doing this be accurate enough to find out this information or do i absolutely need a key disc? thanks

You don't need a key disc to determine if a drive can overread or not. Any audio CD will do.

You can use that key disc to determine your write samples offset now that you know your read offset correction, however.
