In the version I was using before 0.9.3, 0.9.2 I think, the tagger allowed you to input multiple ARTIST fields. In the new tagger, those files that have multiple ARTIST fields are displayed as "Artist 1; Artist 2". How do I know that that's actually two different fields and not just a single field with "Artist 1; Artist 2"? Does the semicolon guarantee multiple fields? So if I wanted to specify multiple ARTIST fields, just using the semicolon will do that for me?

Thanks. The new tagger does look so much better.

Played around with this some more.

Specifying "Artist 1;Artist 2" in the tag editor, saving and re-opening the tag editor changes that field to "Artist 1, Artist 2". That suggests multple tags are not being used, or maybe it does. Dunno.

From my amazing investigation, via the technological wonder that is WordPad, I have determined that, at least in files with ID3v2 tags, foobar2000 separates multiple values with nulls (or some other special characters). Observe:
