I don't use foobar's status bar and I don't like the volume bar very much since I may not know exactly how many dB I get so I'm finding a way to show the volume level (dB) text format string to place somewhere (window title)
thanks

The status bar already shows the volume dB.

I'm sorry, but how is it connected to volume indication issue?
BTW:when i've only started using foobar i had the same exact question as your's and i've been told that it's impossible to get volume information except from the statusbar coz foobar doesn't provide that kind of data field.I hope it will be changed someday

I also think that the status text such as "loading track" would be very useful in a trackinfo panel.. especially where online content is concerned.

Bumping this one. Please add a field like %volume% so those who wish to create a UI without the status bar (yet still want to display the current volume level) may do so!
