Full Version: Odd EAC Setting

I'm not sure if I need to but it seems to me I do. I just set EAC up again after reloading my PC. This time on the Waveform tab the settings read:

Wave Format:

Microsft IMA ADPCM CODEC

Sample Format:

11.025 kHz, 4 Bit, Mono

Low Quality.

I think it should be the 44,000 kHz setting but the screen is grayed out so I don't know how to get it. Doesn't this setting control the quality of the .wav after the CD is ripped?

I didn't do anything differently this time so I'm not sure how to troubleshoot.

I'm using EAC v.095 beta 4, lame 3.97b2, .flac, .oggenc, accurate rip, winaspi.dll (latest download). I don't know what else you need to know?

What do I do?

Thanks

You have nothing to worry about.

The setting is grayed out because you have an external compressor selected.

If you don't tell EAC to rip with compression it will create wave files and whatever is selected in the Waveform Tab has no influence.

Thank you!
