Could someone post a changelog for this new version.
0.9.8beta has a bug here, the program freezes with just one dot on the progress bar left when performing track gain analysis.
System Win98SE, Dutch language version.
Reinstalled 0.9.7 , problem solved...

I find the same bug and solution for album gain analysis, System WinME, English language version.

No trouble here, (Win2000), must just be a Win9X thing

Ah, shoot.
All I did was fix some stuff for Chinese filenames. Looks like I messed something else up, though. I'll start debugging it on a Win9x machine tonight.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

For now, stick with 0.9.7 unless you're having problems with Chinese/Japanese/Korean file names.

Okay, I fixed what I screwed up for Windows 95/98/ME machines. I tested it on my own 98 machine (which I should have done in the first place, sorry). I've sent the new version to the mirror sites. I'll post when it's up... unless JohnV beats me to it again smile.gif

The good thing about this is that it's forced me to go to version 0.9.9. I have nowhere left to go but 1.0.

So please don't find any more bugs wink.gif

(I'm kidding, of course... I want to know about any bugs anyone finds)

I think that MP3Gain is unable to process correctly MP3pro files.
Is there any way to fix this or make MP3Gain to skip MP3pro files?

Mp3Gain is for MP3... not for mp3pro at all.

Who uses that shit anyway?

There's no way to make MP3Gain properly process MP3pro files.
I had not thought about making it skip them, though (the same way it skips mp1 and mp2 files by default).
I'll look into that somtime later...

I couldn't agree more!
Unfortunately some people they still use this format even for new releases... huh.gif
