Hi,

I'm looking for the full version of this release because I especially need the freedb plugin.

I've found one version of this plugin for 0.9.3 but it adds strange characters at the end of all updated strings, as shows Itunes.

Thank you for your help,
Popal

iTunes does not properly implement/support the ID3v2 specification, particularly not the slightly different version which 0.9 uses. Discussion on the topic has been rife on the forum recently; a quick search should lead you to more information, should you desire it.

For 0.8.3, look here.

All three 0.8.3 versions are still online on this site:

And I provided the link to Case's updated special installer, which was newer than that on the official site (and, thus, the mirrors above).

There was an updated installer? Ok, I never knew that.

It wasn't really advertised, but yes, there was:

I'm sure I recall some differences between your "foobar2000.exe" and the one on the official page; was it not updated later, while the official one was not? I think I remember using them both and yours being slightly different.

Oh indeed. Version on official page was uploaded only when new foobar version was officially released. Version on my page was silently updated whenever some included component was updated or if there was a newer internal build of foobar.
