I installed a playlist tree a while back, it worked perfectly at first. The problem is however, when i update my media libarary, the playlist tree does not update with it. So it has incorrect files.

Anyone know how to solve this issue? thanks

If the files are in queries, you can refresh the queries and they should be removed.

If they are part of static folders, you'd have to manually remove the files yourself.

Removing the files manually would take a very very long time. Also it wouldn't help with the new files.

Surely there is a way for the tree to update itself when your media library does?

thanks

Part of this issue is that playlist tree, by design, can have links to files that are not in your library. So it does not make sense to remove all the entries that are not in the library whenever you refresh the library.

If you were to delete a file or move a file using the file operations in the foobar2000 context menu those items should be removed or updated in the tree.

If they are new files, they shouldnt be in any static playlists, so its sort of a non-issue.

If you want to refresh all the queries in the tree, you can run Library->Playlist Tree->Root->Refresh All Queries in the main menu to update them all.
