I already know MPC is much better at those bitrates.
But the question is: of those two, who performs best? Vote!

Can you hear the difference at this bitrate? I can't -> null vote.

I've voted for OGG -q9 just because I know of one sample that with -api sounds bad but with ogg -q8 is undistinguishable for me (I reffer to my sample named "awe32_20sec", which was discussed in this board).
(btw... MPC --standard coped with it, but used up to 292kbps on the most difficult part. I think I already said this on that thread)

Still, this doesn't guarantee anything.
You are just on the safe side with ogg because it *CAN* assign more bits if needed (another thing is that it knows that it has to use them), whereas MP3 cannot.
