My humble request:

Playback > Stop after Current

After stopping, the playback cursor should advance to the next track in the playlist. Alternately, like "Reset stop-after-current when stopping", this could be made an option to toggle on/off in the general prefs.

IMHO it makes far less sense for the cursor to remain on the track that was just stopped once playback is resumed (i.e., why would I want to hear again the song I just told it to stop after?)

If it doesn't warrant its own thread, it probably doesn't deserve attention either. Piggybacking feature requests most be one of the most unproductive things on this forum, even more so if it's a completely unrelated feature request.

Seriously though, I think this has been requested before - perhaps even in a separate thread - but I couldn't find it.

For future reference, are individual "wish" threads preferable to general "Version X.Y wishlist" threads? While the o.p.'s requests were quite specific, the thread title ("2 items for the .9.4 wishlist") had me thinking that it was a more general discussion.
