OK guys here's the deal. I had installed EAC (0.95b) a few months ago. A week after I installed EAC, for some reason I had to use the System Restore utility to get my system back into shape. The thing though was that I used it to restore to a time before I has installed EAC. So I installed EAC again but it wouldn't startup. It kept throwing me an "Unhandled Exception at 01412E52 ->Access Violation" error. I unistalled EAC and reinstalled it several times afterwards but it kept giving the same problems.
Now I looked at the EAC forum to see if I could find a solution and the Sticky there says that there might be some non conform codec installed. So I uninstalled all the codecs that I had installed and reinstalled EAC. Nope, same problem. Do any of you guys have a solution to this problem? Any help would be appreciated. I really need EAC 'cos none of the other rippers rips one of my CDs successfully. Not even dbPowerAmp.

Win XP SP2
