Anyone know why only on speaker is working when I plug my pc to stereo via RCA plugs? I'm just using a SBLive! card with the 1/8" plug plugged into the digital out on the soundcard. I looked at the settings for the card but didn't see anything that would make it work.....and yes the stereo speaker works fine...

Nevermind. I plugged the 1/8" jack into the pc speaker port on the soundcard and all is well. I now don't have pc speakers though...

anything I can do?

What happens when you plug headphones into the same socket?

@foreveranoob1: If I understand correctly, you want to have 4 speakers connected at the same time - your computer speakers plus your stereo.

Color Function
Pink Analog microphone input.
Light blue Analog line level input.
Lime green Analog line level output for the main stereo signal (front speakers or headphones).
Black Analog line level output for rear speakers.
Orange S/PDIF digital output (sometimes used as an analog line output for a center speaker instead)

I have found out, why only 1 speaker worked... You have used the output for the center speaker... wink.gif

I tried plugging my PC speakers into the black(rear speakers output) but to no avail. I can live without them as I'd rather listen to my music thru my stereo....

thanks,

Try this. Go to: Start, Control Panel, Sounds and Audio Devices. Then follow the screenshots I made for you... Hope you succeed. wink.gif

Is your 1/8" plug stereo? It should have two lines of plastic on it. Check the jack on your soundcard with some stereo headphones to be sure.

did the quadrophonic thing, not working. The plug is stereo. I'm at work now but when I get home I'll double check everything. I was tired when I was messing with it and we all know what that can do....
