when I go to the configuration screen in Easy CD-DA under LAME, I can select several options under quality, including Normal (default) and High Quality...

what exactly does that setting do? My rips are preset at 320cbr...

cheers,

Danny

I asssume they are the -f (-q 7 ) -q 5 and -h (-q 2 ) settings, respectively.

probably, you'd like to use high,.

(addenum: if the encoder you use is 3.97, then normal *might* set -q 3, which is the usual setting right now.)
