Based on a post over at Slim Devices forums Logitech is going to acquire Slim Devices....Incredible news but I've got mixed feelings about it. The Harmony acquisition seemed to go well so........
If logitech can get prices down while preserving quality (which is possible, because of their manufacturting clout), it might be a very good thing. I hope they manage to keep the quality good and expand on the cool stuff that slimdevices were doing.

Good point, this might lower the prices and get the Slim Devices products to a wider range of people.

Good point, this might lower the prices and get the Slim Devices products to a wider range of people.
Not to mention the extra resources for doing the more ambitious stuff on the software side (UPnP support, etc).
