When I drag a folder from windows explorer into foobar's playlist, instead of adding the files recursively in the folder, it just adds the folder as if it were a file?!

How do I fix?

I have the same problem from two days, before that everything was working fine.

Can someone help ?

I have the same problem yesterday too with foobar 0.9.4.1. With previous versions of foobar all works very good.

Now I must change using command "Add directory" to using command "Add files".

i had the same problem and it was gone when i removed foo_input_mslive.dll

I don't have foo_input_mslive.dll, but I found this problem only when I add new directory (not in media library yet). If directory exist in media library I can added it with command "Add directory".

My problem was foo_input_matroska.dll. Works fine after removing it.

People fail at implementing filesystem services. And in the case of Matroska, they also fail at implementing archive services, as they went and recreated the entire concept as a custom filesystem service.

...Wait, I just remembered, foo_input_mslive should not be implementing filesystem services anyway if it only uses its custom readers internally, so I guess technically it shouldn't be the cause of the problem, unless you're using an old version.

kode54's guess is completely correct.

after a little debugging of my foo_input_mslive, the cause of the problem 100% sure is foo_input_matroska.dll

I have no clue of under what situation this bug occurs, it seems to be random.
now what you can do is either remove foo_input_matroska.dll or live with it until this bug is fixed.

no, the problem is still with you. just try adding a folder, restart foobar, and add a folder again, restart foobar..........
eventually you will see the bug.

No, it's mslive - I don't even have matroxa tongue.gif

ok.
I've just found a weird thing, either foo_input_matroska.dll or foo_input_mslive.dll (or both) exists will cause the bug.......
that makes me have no idea if it is a bug of each component's filesystem class or not, because my mslive filesystem clearly will not process folder, or is it a bug of foobar itself?

for people who has this bug caused by foo_input_mslive, it is solved by the version I've just released.
