Direct-connect is cool. But windows only. And it has serious security issues and problems. You might try eDonkey2000 at eDonkey2000.com of course. There are clients and servers for Windows and Unix. Mac OSX included. There are just no clients for the classic Mac OS. Other than that a small gnutella network would work. But what ever may come keep on trucking.

I'd rather this discussion didn't continue along this course. Spase, if you happen to have a webpage offsite and you happen to link to a page that links to another page with information on it, that is beyond my control. However, listing addresses on this board where copyrighted music can be obtained is against the rules. Direct links to information on where to obtain copyrighted music is also against the rules.

I'll give you some time to modify your post yourself, but please remove the address listed therein.

This is not a personal matter either and does not in either way reflect my preferred stance on this issue so I'd appreciate it if nobody were to view it as such. Rather, this board is not about music sharing, and I do not wish it to be related to such activity.

I think this is understandable.

i apologize dibrom

altho i do know that there are several people who have been waiting for a decent p2p way to share mpc files.

i thought maybe this was over the bounds of this board, and i was right, but you were away and i figured you would edit it (or tell me to edit it) anyway if it was over the bounds.

i promise no more such posts.

It's OK. I'm not offended smile.gif I just want to make sure that people know where I (and resultingly this board) stand on the issue is all smile.gif

Thanks fixing the post for me.
