is there a way that i can insert a counter when renaming files? for example:

(000001) Yes- Fragile- 08- Mood For A Day.flac
(000002) Rush- 2112- 04- Lessons.flac
(000003) Wolfmother- Wolfmother- 02- White Unicorn.flac
(000004) Miles Davis- Bitches brew- 03- Miles Runs The Voodoo Down.flac

where the first block in the filename is a track count of the files being renamed. so, if i was renaming 10,000 files, the count would go from 1 - 10,000

what would the file renaming scheme be?

(????????????) %album% - %artist% - %tracknumber% - %title%

thanks...

answered my own question. it looks like:

%list_index%

does the trick.
