Is there anyway to fix a corruped fls playlist? I don't know how, but foobar says it's corrupted.

Dragging and dropping the playlist just results in blank white space. Loading it manually via foobar results in the same thing. Renaming the .fls to .pls extension and loading it doesn't help either.

I really want to salvage this playlist. For some stupid reason, when dragging and dropping files from a directory into foobar, it doesn't use the same order as selected from the directory.

example of order of files seen in the directory:

filename1.mp3
filename2.mp3
filename3.mp3

all 3 files selected and drag and dropped into playlist results in the files being placed in a different order like

filename3.mp3
filename1.mp3
filename2.mp3

I'm not sure about recovering the playlists, but regarding the issue about files being sorted incorrectly, check out the setting "Sort incoming files by" under "Preferences -> General". If you just want it sorted by the file name, replace whatever's already there with "%path%".

Yea, I tried that. Basically, the order in which the files are displayed right now in my music directory is in order of when each mp3 was created. They're not in any particular order. This order is the order I want the mp3s to be shown in a playlist. I don't believe there is a %path% sort of option to do this, AFAIK.

I really just want to fix my old playlist file. It was the way I like it to be shown. mad.gif dry.gif

Try %lastmodified%, or just '1', which will be the same for every file and may or may not result in them remaining in the same order as in explorer.

Your playlist file is probably corrupted and irrecoverable.
