I wanted to share my foobar.cfg file and was wondering if this is allowed?
Squeller
Allowed, but keep in mind a) plugins that others might not have, b) settings that do not apply to other environment, c) personal data and mru's.

What kind of personal data does the foobar.cfg file contain and what are mru's?
Chaser
It could contain data of for example foosic, audioscrobbler, lyrics-component, etc..

Which might include passwords...

MRU = Most Recently Used. MRU lists are the dropdown history boxes that show up, for instance, under "Sort incoming files by" under "Preferences -> General" and in various tagging dialogs.

Thanks for the replies. These issues do not seem to be a big problem for me, particularly because I do not have any passwords that I use with foobar. Also, the MRU's could be fixed by the user re-loading the database with his/her tracks and refreshing everything. Since I have received so many requests for my foobar, and it is really very hard to explain all the code that needs to be added to the various components, I am experimenting with a user who is installing all of my required components and fonts and using my .cfg file to emulate my foobar. Once I work out the issues with this install with this user, I may create a thread with an upload of all the required images, .cfg file, etc. for my foobar and links to all the required components and fonts so as to create a fairly cooky cutter ability for a new user to quickly emulate my foobar. Again, thanks for the help.

You can delete them. Example: "File - Add location". Right click on the drop down arrow -> Wipe history.

Great. Where do you do this in foobar preferences?

It should work at any dropdown mru.
