I like the new foobar2000 version, because it is not so overloaded and complex as older ones!
In 0.8.3 I displayed the playlist with real columns.
How can I do this in 0.9.4.1. There is no such a menu item in "view".

You probably had a "full" or "special" installer of 0.8.3, which had Columns UI bundled.
With the installer for 0.9.x versions, Columns UI is not included, thus it is a optional component. To answer your question, I don't know why - perhaps the foobar devs didn't want the installer to be too bloated.
