Full Version: X5 stuck in Voice mode

Please forgive me if this is the wrong forum for this question.

Not sure how I did it, but I think it was related to a stupid attempt to connect my cell phone to the USB host connection to transfer pics from the phone.

Anyway... now I can not get out of Voice mode. The reset button does nothing except turn off the unit.

I can go to the Navigate screen, but can't navigate my way up to a higher menu. I can access the unit via my PC and a USB cable, seeing all the folders.

So I suppose that I could try a reformat and reinstalling firmware, but don't want to try that unless it is my only option.

I Googled this and came up with quite a few people having a similar problem, but no suggestions as to a fix.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

If you're talking about the iAudio X5, maybe you can find some help here:

Thanks. I just went over there and just found a solution.

But thanks for the help and sorry for bothering anyone here with such a dumb question.
