Is there a way to force foobar to only see files that have a specific tag?

i.e.

I have a folder of 100 mp3s and only want songs with a specific genre tag to be added to the database and/or seen in the playlist.

thanks

Sorry, I need it to work on 0.8x.

I am using foo to display guitar tabs and for whatever reason I can't get Lyric Show to work with my tab files in 0.9.

Works fine with Lyric files, but I cannot get it to associate with my tab files (both in *.txt).

EDIT - it's a file-size issue. The Lyric Show plugin for 0.9 rejects the lyric files if they are over a certain size. The plugin for 0.8 apparently doesn't have such a restriction.
