I don't know whether this exists but here goes...

I'm after a MP3 player system that I connect a USB hard drive to which and will play the audio files on the disk. Tall order maybe.

What's available?
Anything similiar?

Car or home?

EDIT: better yet, here's a recent thread on the topic... http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....&hl=lighter

In the home.

Found out about the Pinnacle MediaCenter200 through a search. Seems ideal for what I want apart from it only reads FAT32 HD! bummer.

Anyone else know of a system which will read NTFS? Saves re-formatting the USB HD.
