Hi everybody.

1.- Made a search before and did not find any relevant info about this. I am sorry if it has been already posted and solved.

2.- A friend of mine tells me he got problems with this cue in line 7 (marked red).

3.- He uses EAC 0.95 Beta 4 and he never had problems so far. He has got CDRDAO installed and enabled.
He has burnt many other cds so far without problems.

4.- I burnt this very same CD with EAC with no problems. Same EAC and same *.cue file.

TIA.

EAC cannot work with Monkey's Audio files.

Nope. You are wrong. As long as the proper Monkey's Audio codec is installed in your system, EAC will burn it without even having to convert to WAV first.

Thanks anyway wink.gif

That's funny. I was pretty sure that EAC could only decode MP3! blink.gif I'll wait for a second opinion.

It only opens MP3 and WAV files.

Should check next time. >_<

EAC can decode MP3, MPC and APE.

The error may be due to APE file corruption.

Second opinion?? You don't trust me?? Anyway, Egor's second opinion is good enough, ain't it? cool.gif

Egor

My friend burnt the APE via Nero plugin and everything went smooth, so the APE file was 100% OK. If it had been faulty he would have never been able to burn it.

And I burnt it with EAC with no error warnings in the CUE file. Our files (APE and CUE) are exactly the same.

Greetz.

What was the error message, exactly?

INDEX position is behind end of FILE in line 7
Egor
This indicates that the APE file is incomplete, corrupted or EAC cannot decode the file properly (the error message means the file ends at 00:00:00).

Try verification with MAC.exe (Monkey's Audio command line encoder)
CODE
MAC.exe CDImage.ape -v

If verification will say the file is OK, then try updating MACDll.dll component (download and install the latest Monkey's Audio suite from the official site).
