Hi there,

I have a hi-fi cd recorder (a yamaha cdr1000), but unfortunately the cdrw drive inside it has broken. There is a parallel port on the back of this machine, and I'm wondering if I can use this to capture (ideally to wav on my PC) the output.
I haven't a clue where to start, or if this is even possible, but I don't want to just throw out my recorder...
