I read this in the winamp forums

Anyone here notice that the bass in ogg vorbis files is less than that in mp3?

Lack of bass is the most frequenct complaint regarding...every codec. Anyway, could be that the guy is actually noticing changes in high freqs which is validated problem in Vorbis, and interprets that as lack of bass...

If there's no ABX/ABA/other DBT results, these "I have noticed" are not worth much.
