Full Version: Glitgh at the starting of wav file using EAC

I am experiencing a strange problem: I have a Plextor PT-40xx SCSI drive. When I extract audio tracks to wave files there is always a glitch at the start of each track. The strange thing is that if I open the waw file using the internal wave editor of EAC the glitch is not there. If I encode the wav using lame and decode the compressed file in EAC the glitch is there.

It seems that the first bytes of the wav file contains some form of data with is not understoond by anything but EAC.

Thank you in advance.
Q!
I've had the same problem with my old LG cdrom. Try ripping tthe first track in paranoid mode, that worked for me (although I don't now if paranoid mode is safe for your drive). You can also try a diffrent ripper - that worked sometimes too.
