hi, i've been a member for a little while now but this might be my first true post. i am looking in to a cd deck for my car and wondering if anyone knew which decks exist that would come close if not be exactly what i want.
all i'm looking for is make and model, but should you know a retailer that stocks such an item, year made and all that stuff i would like as much info as possible should you not know where to find one and i am not an avid internet shopper.

first off what i will need;
MP3 capable up to at least 320Kbit rate, 4.1 channel {LeftFront, RightFront, LeftRear, RightRear & Sub.. sub channel not really necessary as i could just combine left and right of the the rear speakers through a passive crossover} & Just one cd tray, any more would be sorta tight in my dashboard and i'm not looking to crowd my small trunk with a multiple disc changer as my sub will also be mounted on the panel seperating my trunk and back seat in a ported and finely tuned custom box, since i doubt that a retail box will fit the way i will need it to in my confined trunk as most people these days seem to make their subs into thumpers through band pass and i want to hear a bass guitar just as clear as crashes off my tweeters should i be able to find someone to build a custom box.

next what i would really like integrated in the deck but not require as i could probabally interject some stuff in the wiring to get the job done;
Sub attenuation seperate from master volume {should i not need to blast bass on every song tongue.gif}, Variable low-pass crossover freq and variable attenuation rate for sub channel that can be adjusted by small increments of Hertz and Decibels & A high quality customizable equalizer either parametric so i can be specific with the hertz and decibels or a whole metric tonne of bands then also requiring the hertz and decibels, not just low, mid & high. i like to get technical, there's no sence trying to figure out something technically when you're working with some commerical POS that gives you arbitrary figures which cannot be mapped out in any conventional sence.

should anyone know a site that has a large list of good car decks i would gladly browse it myself too, i just cannot find anything that tickled my fancy.. thanks for all your time laugh.gif
