From what model on did plextor drives have this feature? I have a PX-W5224A and tested it with cache explorer and it said it didn't support FUA and cache can't be disabled. Can this problem still be bipassed in EAC and dBpowerAMP or do i have to buy a new drive?

EDIT1: Seems like depending on CDs, the dbpoweramp detects a caching value of 583kb or inconsistant values. And sometimes it detects FUA and other times it doesn't. Cache explorer reports 4/5 on the plextor flush test and caching of 581kb. If it's like that, what options should i check? Should i stick with the reported buffer of dbpoweramp or the one reported by cache explorer or nothing at all, should i check the clear read cache with FUA command?

EDIT2: Inconsistant values. Bought it second hand so eh, wonder if all of them are like that.

EDIT3: So i succeeded in making FUA work by uninstalling scsi pass through and putting my drive internal. It just didn't work through firewire.
