Full Version: Can't burn CD-R from cue sheet and wav?

This has me stumped because I know I did it before..

I am converting some LP's to CD. I record the entire LP as one wav file, then create a cue sheet.

Next I open the cue sheet with EAC and attempt to burn it to CD-R with either my Plextor CD-R or an NEC DVD burner.

But EAC can't see either drives.. so I can't burn the stupid thing. Ended up splitting the wav into tracks, then burning it with Roxio (ewe!!!... ) which has no means to add the CD UPC.

Can someone recommend another application that will also burn a CD from a wav file and cue sheet? Preferrably something that is either freeware or shareware.

Thanks.

burnatonce

but you could also try adding wnaspi32.dll to your EAC installation folder and seeing if that helps.

Oh thanks. I'll give that a try.

I see that Burrrn will also do it, it just requires a bit more manual editting of the cue file.

And very annoyingly... the album I am attempting to burn to CD doesn't appear to have a 13 digit UPC. All I can find is 12. Emerson, Lake & Palmer In Concert.

Okay.. the dll did the trick!!

Thanks!!
