So, I'm about to buy a SMALL mixer, notice the upper caps wink.gif

I would like to know if any of you know of a good mixer that is not so expensive, maybe a 4 or 6 channel mixer will do fine, is for a small home studio I'm setting up, what I need is something that has a small amplifier integrated and has a good output sound quality

So, any suggestions?

How about something like this: http://www.behringer.com/802/index.cfm?lang=ENG

My next door neighbour has what I think is the 8 channel version of that. It seems fine.

IMO, Behringer makes some nice equipment for short cash, I just wouldn't take it out on the road.

Why not? It doesn't give enough quality? and if that's the case, which one would be the best one of the cheapest that there is IYO

How about the Alesis MultiMix 6FX 6-Channel Mixer with Effects? what do you think about it?

The quality on the Behringers is fine, just might not take the road beatings that say a Mackie could take.

I have a UB1202 Behringer. It has no observable audio degradation(no audible noise if you set your gains correctly), an excellent built in headphone amp that will drive virtually any dynamic headphone to any volume level desired, and seemingly rather low noise microphone preamplifier. The only thing that bothers me is that there is no power switch. You have to unplug it to turn it off. I can't speak for durability, as I've never abused it physically

I've been happy with my two low-end Behringer mixers as well.

How about the Yamaha MG10/2, what do you think about that?
