AFAIK that isn't even possible yet because Ahead hasn't released the specs. Hey, that's something Menno and Ivan could push, now they're working for Ahead smile.gif

Overkill?
MP4 format has less overhead than the headers in MPC smile.gif
And next to that it is much more versatile.

don`t get me wrong.. menno. the aac format is perfect for dynamic multichannel source (wide spectrum)..
but as long were talking 16bit dept. and 44100 ..
my ears.. settle for mpc. on "wider" music.. the tune changes

and while am at it.. happy cristamas every one here at HA...
am off.................................

Ouch, ok, assumed you were talking about the bitstream formats smile.gif not about the audio quality. Well, you may be right about that smile.gif

I should learn that not everybody is busy with the same things at a certain moment as I am dry.gif
