Is there a plugin for foobar2000 0.9 that enables you to assign a global hotkey that popups a seekbar? I often listen to music in the background (foobar in the system tray), and when I need to seek songs, it is very tedious to open up foobar to do it. If course, I have global hotkeys for seeking x seconds forward/backward, but they don't show me where I am in the song.

Have you tried foo_osd? You can show the seeking position with it. It's not clickable, though.

There is also a plug-in called foo_AdvancedControls wich allows you to click on a mini seekbar in the systray

You could also use foo dockable panels
