Theres a program for mediamonkey which uses mp3tag source scripts to retrieve information and tag files from sources like allmusic.com, amazon, etc.

Maybe someone could create a component for foobar which does the same thing. It would provide a way to get information from lots of different sources in one place. I find it allmusic.com information especially useful, because they have good music organization info like song themes, styles, moods, etc. The ability to get tags from sources other than freedb is one of the few things which keeps me using mediamonkey instead of foobar to organize and tag music.

I love the extended allmusic script for retrieving all that abstract metadata (tones, styles, etc.) With foo_run, mp3tag is only a hotkey away anyway. But foobar integration would be nice.

Btw, does anyone know if there is any way to use the commandline to open mp3tag with the currently selected foobar tracks automatically loaded?
Edit: Figured out to load a file's directory with foo_run:
C:\Program Files\Mp3tag\Mp3tag.exe /fp:'"'$replace(%_path%,%filename_ext%,)'"'
