First question:

Maybe a simple question, but how do one sort a single columns playlist like the following:

-artist A
--album1 (disc1)
--album1 (disc2)
--album2
-artist B
--album1
--album2
-artist C
--album

etc.. then at last:

-various artist
--album1 (disc1)
--album1 (disc2)

What I want -> Example:

TOP:

-Abbe Abbott
--abbots first album (disc1)
--abbots first album (disc2)
--abbots second album
-Benny Bart
--benny barts first album

etc.. then at last the "various artists":

-Absolute Acoustic
--disc 1
--disc 2
-Absolute Crap
--disc 1
--disc 2
-Nothing but love
--disc 1
--disc 2
-Top 100 80's songs
--disc 1
--disc 2

Second question:

Does "sort by" in foobar menu override the settings in the "group by" window in SCPL?
What happens if I restart foobar, which "sort by" overrides the other and what is the defualt sort by setting then? Hope you guys can help me. I searched the forums as good as I could but, well nothing helped me sad.gif
TS2Master
$if($strcmp(%artist%,Various Artists),zzzzzzz,%artist%) - %album% - %discnumber% - $num(%tracknumber%,4) - %title% - %filename%

Also, if you put it in preferences where it says "Sort Incoming Tracks By" or something, then it will sort by this everytime.

It didn't work sad.gif from the look of it I think foobar SCPL thinks every single song is an album using your string.

thanx anyway.
