Hi,
I'm currently trying to test a DTS-ES discrete decoder, and I want to check that it's decoding the extra channel correctly and properly unmixing it from the surround channels. Does anyone either know of somewhere I can get hold of a test stream that outputs something like test tones to each channel separately? Even better, does anyone on this forum have access to an encoder than can generate discrete streams and would you be willing to encode a simple example for me to test with?
Any possible help would be greatly appreciated!

Here you can find a DTS-ES Discrete 6.1 track, from SR Multikanal 5.1 Radio.
http://www.sr.se/laddahem/multikanal/dts/norgeES.zipIt´s encoded as DTS WAV so you´ll need to use WAV2DTS.exe to change it to DTS Padded.
Cheers.

Thanks for the link! What I was hoping to find though were something along the lines of a surround test, where a tone or some noise plays out of each channel in turn, so I can check that the channels are being pulled out correctly, which is a bit harder on a proper sound mix. I haven't been able to find anything like this though, unfortunately.

Here you have two test streams.
The first one is a standard 5.1 DTS surround test. The second one is pseudo-matrix encoded 6.1 stream (downmixed to 5.1, then encoded as 5.1 standar, not ES).
