I've been using F2K for a while now, and all I can say is...... nothing, nada, .... i'm just speechless.... the quality of this player simply blew me away....
I have a Terratec EWX 24/96 soundcard, connected to a NAD C320BEE amp and a pair of Mission m71i speakers and let me tell you: I really can't tell the diference between my mp3 (made using LAME 3.90.2 & -alt-preset fast extreme) and the cd's I used to make them (played on a NAD C521i CD player)......
I really like this player... at last there is a player for the audiophile minded....
Just posted to congratulate the author zZzZzZz for his efforts....
I don't know if you guys want to use this thread to give opinions about the quality and to thank zZzZzZz... just an idea....

I have a cheap 5 year old ESS Solo soundcard, connected to 20$ "Tin Lizzy" desktop speakers, and I also can't tell the differnce from the CD to my encodings. Thanks foobar.
No serious. I like the interface (could have a search slider though), the replaygain implementation is just awesome, and 48 kHz resampling gives me that good feeling
