Hi to everybody,
Some of my albums have same names and due to this the song-titles are merged together into one album. How to you treat this issue in order to display two different albums?
Thanks for your help

I never encountered this situation, but my suggestion would be to group based on %album% and %album artist%.

You need to develop a sort string that will differentiate between the two albums.
File> Preferences> General> "Sort incoming files by:"
-or-
Edit> Sort> "Sort by ..."
I personally include parameters such as %date% and %cdid% to differentiate between albums. How do you tell the difference between the two?

Thank you for your help,
after some tests I found out the following: if I use this sort-string "%album% - %album artist% - %tracknumber% - %title%" everything works fine! I have put this string into the respective "Playlist view/Colums/Sort/use custom sort spec" and when I click on the header, it works fine.
But one question is left: is it possible to change the "native" sort-string in "Edit/Sort/Sort by Album"? If I use the predefined string, that is given, albums with same names are merged! So where do I find the native string for sorting by album?
Thanks

Custom sorting is to be done at "Edit/Sort/Sort by..."
All of the custom sort strings you enter in the ensuing dialog will be available for future use in the drop-down listbox. To keep the list from getting too messy, you can erase any unwanted sort string by first selecting the string and then right-clicking on the listbox's down arrow button and selecting the "remove..." option.
