I ripped a CD to individual FLAC files with EAC. I then created an audio CD using Burnatonce using those same FLAC files.
I noticed that the burned CD does not have the gaps that the original CD has. The track lengths are the same just no gaps.
Does this mean that gap information is not stored with the FLAC file at all? If so, is it the same with mp3 files?
Does this mean that if I play the newly created flac tracks in foobar that there will now be no gaps at all?
For some reason I thought that gaps were appended to the prior song upon ripping.
Getting somewhat confused by the whole issue
Thanks in advance,
