I just installed .9.4.1, along with numerous components. I find there is no ABX feature like there was on the last version i was running. I used the ABX Comparator numerous time on the older version(not sure which one...it was like just over a year that i installed it). Is it something that must be installed seperately now? It came installed on the last version i used i believe because i never installed extra components like i am doing now.

thanks
thuan
Reinstall and carefully look at the "Choose Components" page while doing it. You probably can see "ABX Comparator" under Optional features->Tools, can't you?

any way to just install in as a component? I will lose all my personal setting/preferences, etc won't i...if i have to reinstall?
thuan
No, you won't lose a thing when reinstall if you do it right. Even if you don't do it right like the first time you use profiles for multiple users and the second time you don't use it the the settings are stored in "C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\foobar2000" or some thing. I haven't used profiles once so I'm not so sure. Otherwise the settings are stored in foobar2000.cfg in foobar2000 installed folder.

Or if you want to take the component out of the installer install 7-zip from 7-zip.org, right click on the installer and open it. The plugin foo_abx.dll is in the components folder.
