I would like some suggestions about a good and inexpensive usb or pcmica to spdif line level-out.

I intend to use to play music form my laptop on my Yamaha R-V 905.

I want a device that outputs unaltered, bit-perfect, audio.

I don't need any inputs, any DTS or Dolby Digital or any virtual surrrround.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Drew

Hi Drew and Happy New Year!
Tip: do a search on HA with "USB S/PDIF". This has already been debated ad nauseam here at HA.
I use a USB Aureon adapter, works fine for my needs.
