I guess you're reffering to which app has the most secure ripping mode and based on this, then i would say EAC(of the two suggested!). It has correctly implemented cache flushing routines, C2 pointer support and also automatic test & copy support. Also if just going after the non-cache flushing/non-C2 pointer secure mode of EAC compared against the paranoia libs, then it's been tested at least on one drive that cdparanoia libs isn't as good as EAC when it comes to secure ripping, which can be seen in the following HA FAQ post by Pio2001.
