I have managed to put together a working DS filter which, until Rarewares is back up, you can d/l from the LAME folder at: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jfe1205/

OK, I've just added a new 3.97 Release DS filter to the same folder referred to above. 
This also works in graphedit.
