Is there a way to change the subsitutes that the converter/renamer uses for illegal characters, e.g. question marks and colons?

holiday tip: search term = "illegal character" (WITH quotes)

I've tried using the $replace function, but I experience the exact same problem as this guy. What could be wrong?

Ah, sorry - I only searched in the general forum, not the support.

Since this is turning out to be support/problem-related instead of just asking how to do something, I've created a new thread in the support forum. This one can be closed, deleted or eaten AFAIK. Thanks.
