hi there

i used vlc (portable) till now, which uses its own codecs for everything (i guess)

I need to know if FB2k has its own mp3 decoder (doesnt seem so, as it isnt displayed in "components (foo_input.std).
Thats because i remove everythings possible from my windows (nLite), including wmp codecs, but i didnt do it yet on my laptop, which is the one i would use for foobar.

thanks

Hi.

Yes it has its own decoder, in foo_input_std.dll =)
geoslake
great, and thanks for fast reply !!

But then, why isnt it displayd in the "components" section ?
(would make sense i think)
Andreasvb
This is from the component version viewer,

foo_input_std.dll v1.1.0 [25 November 2006] - FLAC Decoder
foo_input_std.dll v1.0 [25 November 2006] - Standard Input Array
foo_input_std.dll v1.1 [25 November 2006] - WMA Decoder

You can also see it in the components page in preferences.

so yes, we don't see "MP3 Decoder", right ? smile.gif
(or is it "standard input" ?)
Hakubo
It's part of the "standard input".
