Full Version: Nero's tool can detect driver's read offset?

Some one use nero's CD speed to create a test CD, and use this CD to determine drive's read offset. I wonder.

His step:
Select "Extra->advanced DAE quality test->Create Test Cd. Then "Extra->advanced DAE quality test->run test...". A window will pop up to tell " offset 24bytes (6 samples)".

He means this value is equal to the read offset of EAC. Is he right?
Case
This is combined read/write offset. EAC can detect it too.
