I am new to PC Audio and need some help. I want to use Foobar as my player. I have a Helios X5000 wifi streamer to receive an audio stream and convert it to analog. How do I direct the output from Foobar to the X5000 via IP? If someone has figured out how to do this with a Squeezebox, it should work for me.

i dont understant? Afaik you have to use the x5000 itself to browse your media collection, and connection software is custom (Neolink).

Oh. So I use Foobar to create, tag, manage, and manipulate my music library which I store on a UPnP NAS. Then I play the music with the firmware player embedded in the X5000. Is that correct?

With that approach, I can use the advanced features of Foobar to manage my library, but I can only use Foobar on my PC. So:

1) What are the player features of Foobar that I would be giving up if I used the X5000 player?
2) If I wanted to use Foobar as a player, Is there a way to "push" content to the Helios?
