I've been downloading plenty of 1080p trailers lately from Apple's website, and exporting them to .mp4 for playback on the PS3 console.
However, I feel it does a poor job of downmixing the 5.1 AAC files to stereo (you can't pass through raw multichannel sound from the original .mov).
Is there a better .mov to .mp4 converter out there that does a better job of downmixing? If you want to see why I'm concerned about the downmixing, try the 300 Trailer...the bass sounds absolutely distorted and destroyed with the stereo downmix.
